His research group focuses on elucidating the high-temperature (T > 0.5Tm ) deformation behavior of materials, including both bulk and foam structures, which are processed through various techniques such as casting, welding, additive manufacturing, plasma spray coatings, and spark plasma sintering. These investigations are directed towards applications requiring elevated temperature performance. Additionally, we study high-temperature surface degradation phenomena, specifically oxidation and hot corrosion.
